This time I came to Pudong to handle the final work of the project, I specifically chose the executive room of Royal Century Hotel Shanghai. When staying up late to revise the final draft of the project, the space on the desk can fully accommodate two computers and a pile of materials, without any tightness.
The panoramic french window of the room is a whole face of low-noise sound insulation glass. After closing the window, the traffic outside is immediately isolated, even when it is close to the main road, there is no noise at all. Opening the curtains, you can directly see the Chinese garden scenery of the hotel. The morning sunlight seeps into the room through the thick cotton and linen curtains, and even the air is filled with the fragrance of green plants. After finishing work in the evening, I sit here and brew a cup of tea, watching the sunset outside the window fall on the lake surface of the garden. The tension of working overtime day after day is mostly relieved. The intelligent control of the room is also made particularly convenient. The one click master control switch at the door allows you to turn off all non essential power sources with just one click when you go out. Even lying in bed, you can control the lighting and curtains through the panel, and adjust to the most comfortable atmosphere without getting up.
The most surprising feature is the configuration of the bathroom area, with a dual basin design that separates dry and wet areas. Even when two people are washing at the same time, it is not crowded at all. The height of the basin has been specially raised, so standing for a long time to wash will not be tiring. The water output of the thermostatic shower is stable and large, and hot water can be produced without waiting for a long time. After taking a shower, there is no need to worry about slipping while standing on the anti slip floor tiles. The independent bathtub is placed next to the small window, and soaking in hot water allows you to see the greenery of the garden outside. After a busy day's work, taking a shower can completely relieve your fatigue. All drinks in the mini bar are free, and the fridge has pre frozen local salt soda, which can be opened to enjoy a refreshing and sweet taste.
During my three days at Royal Century Hotel Shanghai, I could hardly find any flaws in the facilities. It didn't have fancy internet celebrity designs, but used every detail that met the needs of guests to maximize the comfort of the accommodation.
